HVAC‑Certified Make Ready Technician – Property Management

Location: Waxahachie, TX 75165

Schedule: Monday through friday

Pay: $20-$22 per hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented HVAC‑Certified Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential in preparing vacant units for new residents, completing minor repairs, and supporting maintenance operations with HVAC expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete make‑ready tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and general repairs
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and repairs within certification scope
• Inspect units and identify needed maintenance prior to move‑in
• Assist with appliance installs, minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
• Ensure all units meet company quality standards before resident move‑in
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean, safe condition
• Support emergency maintenance calls as needed
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and team members

Qualifications

• EPA or HVAC certification required
• 1+ year of make‑ready, maintenance, or property management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
