Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician-Property Management

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $25-$26 per hour

Location: San Diego, CA 92115

We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our property. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and providing excellent service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs including HVAC support, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Help with unit turns, preventative maintenance, and inspections
• Maintain clean and safe common areas and equipment rooms
• Communicate with residents and management regarding maintenance needs
• Follow all safety standards and use proper tools and PPE

Qualifications

• Valid maintenance‑related certification (HVAC, EPA, or similar)
• Previous property maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
