Tax Credit Leasing Professional – Property Management

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $23-$24 per hour

Location: El Cerrito, CA 94530

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Credit Leasing Professional to join our property management team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced lease‑up environment and has a strong understanding of LIHTC compliance, resident qualification, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage all leasing activities for a new lease‑up community
• Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and follow up with prospects
• Process applications and verify eligibility according to LIHTC (Tax Credit) guidelines
• Ensure all files meet compliance standards and are audit‑ready
• Assist with marketing efforts, outreach, and community engagement
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and leasing documentation
• Support move‑ins, renewals, and resident relations
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to meet occupancy and compliance goals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Tax Credit (LIHTC) leasing experience
• Lease‑up experience required
• Strong understanding of income qualification, compliance rules, and file preparation
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar preferred)
• Professional, organized, and detail‑oriented
