Bilingual LIHTC Leasing Consultant (Spanish/English) – Contract to Hire

Use your bilingual skills and affordable housing experience to make an immediate impact in a multifamily community. This contract‑to‑hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced LIHTC Leasing Consultant who excels in sales, compliance, and resident relations.

Location: San Jose, CA 95125

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $23-24/hr DOE

Job Description

• Lease LIHTC apartment homes while maintaining program compliance
• Conduct tours, follow up with prospects, and close leases to drive occupancy
• Process applications, income certifications, and resident documentation
• Communicate clearly with residents and prospects in English and Spanish
• Maintain accurate records using property management software
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Tax Credit regulations

Qualifications

• Prior apartment or multifamily leasing experience required
• LIHTC / Tax Credit leasing experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Strong sales and closing skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing compliance
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
• Reliable attendance and professional customer service skills
