Bilingual Apartment Maintenance Technician – Contract to Hire

Put your maintenance skills and bilingual abilities to work in a hands‑on role supporting a multifamily community. This contract‑to‑hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work, clear communication, and dependable on‑site support.

Location: Palm Springs, FL 33461

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22–$23/hour (DOE)

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description

• Complete work orders promptly and professionally
• Perform make‑ready maintenance including painting, minor repairs, and unit turns
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain common areas and grounds to safety and cleanliness standards
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff in English and Spanish
• Identify and report maintenance concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and make‑ready processes
• Must provide own tools
• Understanding of Fair Housing compliance
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
