Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician – Contract

Put your certified maintenance skills to work supporting a multifamily community where quality, safety, and reliability matter. This contract role is ideal for a strong, experienced Maintenance Technician who can work independently and flex between properties as needed.

Location: Seattle, WA 98109

Pay Rate: $27.00/hour

Position Type: Contract

Job Description

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform make‑ready maintenance including repairs, painting, and unit turns
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Maintain common areas and grounds to safety and quality standards
• Split time between assigned properties as operational needs require
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to work independently and across multiple properties
• Reliable attendance and professional communication skills
