Apartment Maintenance Technician – Contract to Hire

This contract‑to‑hire opportunity is ideal for a reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician who is confident handling service requests, unit turns, and daily maintenance needs.

Location: Grove City, OH 43123

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description

• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting and basic repairs
• Handle plumbing, appliance repairs, and general maintenance tasks
• Assist with make‑ready apartments including minor repairs and touch‑ups
• Maintain common areas and grounds to safety and cleanliness standards
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, appliances, and general repairs
• Must provide own tools
• Knowledge of Fair Housing compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
