Maintenance Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $25/hour

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join a well-maintained residential community in Charlotte, NC. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the community
• Complete unit turns efficiently and to a high standard
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Handle drywall repairs, carpentry work, and general upkeep
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain curb appeal and ensure the property is in excellent condition
• Assist with additional maintenance duties as needed

Requirements

• EPA Certification required
• Strong plumbing experience is a must
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-starter with a proactive approach and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow direction while also working independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a productive work environment
• Bilingual- Spanish/English
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
