Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across multiple residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all equipment, systems, and units are functioning optimally. This role requires a strong background in facilities management and effective leadership to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize various trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC to service residential homes.
  • Service vacant, future, and occupied units by completing work orders and maintenance tickets.
  • Perform daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency maintenance as needed; document all work accurately.
  • Review assigned work orders, estimate required time and materials, and obtain necessary supplies.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofing, drains, shop equipment, and HVAC.
  • Maintain lighting systems, clean fixtures, and replace bulbs.
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal.
  • Conduct light groundskeeping and exterior clean-up as needed.
  • Handle trash removal when required.
  • Complete turnover punch-out lists for vacated units.
  • Perform carpentry and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency or seasonal needs.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and request additional assistance when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and use basic tools necessary for daily responsibilities.
  • Comply with all relevant codes, safety regulations, and directives related to building operations and workplace safety.
