About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the delivery and maintenance of mission-critical applications supporting our client's initiatives. This role focuses on .NET and Microsoft technologies and offers the opportunity to drive high-performance software initiatives while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable .NET applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in Microsoft .NET/Azure development.
• 5+ years in application development; 2+ years in lead development roles.
• Strong experience with C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and Git.
• Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure) and Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, VS Code).
• Knowledge of SDLC, design patterns, and infrastructure best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Local government experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
