Commercial Maintenance Technician (Mobile) 

Pay: $20 - $24 / hour

Location(s): 

- 1 candidate will be at 3 different buildings in the 610/45 area in the mornings and then HCAD in the afternoons Monday - Friday.

- 1 candidate will be in Katy on Tuesdays, Jersey Village on Thursdays and other buildings on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

**CANDIDATE MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE**

Under direction of the Chief Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor or other appropriate administrative staff responsible for general maintenance and/or repairs to buildings and grounds and to perform related tasks as required. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, will consider experience in exchange of education. 

• Has dependable transportation capable of carrying ladders, pressure washer, and other necessary work related equipment. 

• Employee will be required to provide necessary hand tools customary to perform most routine job functions. 

• Can lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to work off of ladders at various heights. 

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow product manuals and safety instructions. 

• Completes time cards and other routine records for proper reporting and record keeping. 

• Maintains records of maintenance activities at assigned locations. 

• Performs general repairs such as painting, patching walls, hanging shelves. 

• Performs general electrical repairs such as bulb and ballast replacement, light switch and outlet replacements, small motor replacements. 

• Operates machinery and equipment such as pressure washer, and power tools. 

• Inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems and equipment in assigned locations. 

• Replaces belts and filters on air conditioning equipment. 

• Cleans ac system coils and cooling towers. 

• Performs janitorial, maintenance, and other related tasks as required. 

• Knowledge in maintenance supplies, equipment, materials, and methods used in janitorial and building maintenance work. 

• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance in using equipment to complete assigned tasks. 

• Meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, vendors, contractors and clients. 

• Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.
