Regional Property Manager – Kansas City, MO

Oversee Two Communities | ~900 Units | Class B/C Assets

Full-Time | On-Site | Hands-On Leadership Role

Salary: $115,000 – $140,000 (Based on Experience)

We are actively seeking a high-performing, results-driven Regional Property Manager to lead operations across two multifamily communities totaling approximately 900 units in the Kansas City market. These are Class B/C assets, and this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence and team leadership.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving improvements across site performance, staffing, maintenance operations, financials, and resident satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across two multifamily properties
  • Lead and develop on-site teams to improve performance, accountability, and resident experience
  • Manage and optimize the unit turn process to reduce downtime and improve readiness
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects and maintenance scheduling
  • Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies and property-level challenges
  • Reduce delinquency through proactive resident engagement and process enforcement
  • Enhance property security through vendor partnerships and operational strategies
  • Drive improvements to occupancy, rent growth, and net operating income (NOI)
  • Report regularly on financials, occupancy, staffing, and maintenance performance to ownership

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in regional or multi-site property management
  • Strong knowledge of Class B/C asset operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and meet performance targets
  • Hands-on approach to leadership, with a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Experience coordinating unit turns, capex projects, and property rehab
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
