Motivated and personable full-time Office Assistant/Leasing Specialist needed to assist the Property Manager in successfully leasing apartment homes. Primary responsibilities include community and outreach marketing, promoting positive resident relations, and maintaining a top-notch living environment. A key part of this role is planning, facilitating, and attending resident social functions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Customer service-focused background in sales, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Education: Wisconsin State Real Estate license required to earn commissions.
  • Skills: Professional, articulate, and friendly interpersonal communication skills. Strong administrative abilities and a positive, upbeat personality.
  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leasing

  • Respond to phone calls and emails from prospective residents; schedule showings and answer questions.
  • Become an expert on the property and market its features, amenities, and neighborhood.
  • Process rental applications and assist with leasing paperwork.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to prospects.
  • Plan and coordinate resident events, including setup and vendor coordination.
  • Build positive relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Assist prospective clients with envisioning the space, executing contracts, and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Represent the property at events and provide on-site assistance.
  • Monitor and update third-party rental listings to ensure accuracy.

General

  • Perform office-related administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintain resident and prospect files according to company standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections of common areas, vacant units, and model apartments.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings as needed.
