Commercial Property Manager

Location: Austin, TX 78759

Pay: $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience


The Property Manager oversees the daily building operations and financial performance of the assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily building operations
  • Handles client requests and concerns
  • Reviews vendor accounts (ensure expenses are in line with budget)
  • Resolve problems on client accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Monthly financial review and report writing
  • Review of rent roll for accuracy and approve rent up
  • Calculation of yearly estimated expenses
  • Inspect vacant spaces
  • Oversee client billing process
  • Budget preparation
  • Prepare and review of recovery reconciliation, etc.
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines


Working Environment

  • Typical professional work environment, frequently indoors.
  • Physical Demands
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites, strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds; travel in an automobile.
  • Vision Requirements
  • Must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, read and review reports and a wide variety of correspondence, frequent need to see small detail.
  • Hearing Requirements
  • Must possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone, ability to participate in meetings and conference calls.
  • Driving Requirements
  • Need to utilize personal or rented transportation to inspect properties, visit tenants, procure supplies, attend meetings, etc. Must have a valid driver’s license and current insurance provider.
  • Reasoning Development
  • Must comply and follow all company policies and procedures. Must be able to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions. Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Must be able to interact and communicate with senior management, on-site employees, tenants, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
