Commercial Building Engineer

Location: Houston, TX 77057

Pay: Up to $67,000

We are looking for a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team as a full-time Building Engineer.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical maintenance.
• Responsible for building maintenance stock and inventory, daily operation of building automated systems and assuring that building(s) are city/code compliant.
• Weekly on-call duties via emergency phone service and contracted monitoring stations for both burglary and fire systems.
• Responding to building house-calls in a timely manner through work orders generated by company furnished cell phone.
• Keeping up good tenant relations in all office building(s).
• Communication between day porters and security guards.

Qualifications:

• 10+ Years  
• Familiarity with centrifugal chillers/chill water systems
• HVAC pneumatic controls
• Previous experience in commercial property management preferred
• Team Player
• Strong initiative, honest and customer service oriented
