Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator – Senior Living Community

Pay: $21-22/hour | Type: Temp-to-Hire | Location: Salem, OR

BGSF, one of the largest staffing firms in the nation, is partnering with a senior living community to hire a Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator. This unique opportunity blends leasing responsibilities with a strong focus on service, support, and compassion for our senior residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process
• Assist residents with accessing rental assistance, food programs, and local resources
• Support residents with day-to-day needs (e.g., setting up a cell phone or arranging transportation)
• Coordinate and participate in on-site activities and community events in collaboration with the Activities Director
• Respond to service tickets and meet with residents as needed to resolve issues
• Handle administrative duties including phone calls, filing, and application processing
• Help retain residents through excellent customer service and engagement

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a true calling to work with seniors and demonstrates patience, empathy, and maturity
• Enjoys customer service and helping others feel supported and connected
• Comfortable using Zoom or FaceTime for a pre-screen interview
• Familiarity with HUD or affordable housing is a plus, but not required
• Previous leasing experience (6+ months preferred)
• Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines
• Basic proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, etc., a plus)
• Reliable transportation and a team-player mindset
