We are seeking a motivated and personable full-time Office Assistant/Leasing Specialist to assist the Property Manager in successfully leasing apartment homes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Community and outreach marketing
  • Promoting positive resident relations
  • Maintaining a comfortable, top-notch living environment
  • Planning, facilitating, and attending resident social functions

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in customer service-focused fields such as sales or hospitality

Education:

  • A Wisconsin State Real Estate license is required to earn commissions

Skills:

  • Ability to interact with people in an articulate, professional, and friendly manner
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Administrative experience
  • Positive attitude and pleasant personality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leasing:

  • Field phone calls and emails from prospective residents
  • Schedule showings and answer questions
  • Become an expert on the property and market its features, amenities, location, and neighborhood
  • Process rental applications
  • Assist with leasing paperwork
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails

Event Planning:

  • Assist with scheduling and oversee any necessary set-up for events
  • Work with local establishments to foster positive neighborhood relationships
  • Assist prospective clients with envisioning the space, executing contracts, and addressing questions and concerns
  • Be present at events as a liaison for the property and assist clients with any needs
  • Support corporate outreach efforts and market the property to local organizations

General:

  • Monitor third-party rental websites; edit and update to ensure accurate property listings
  • Support and comply with company rules and policies
  • Perform office-related administrative duties as assigned
  • Maintain resident and prospect files according to company standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings
  • Conduct daily inspections of common areas, vacant, and model apartments
