Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise accounting staff to ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
• Review / Prepare Division level departmental budgets with input from Division operators as well as finance leads
• Prepare and/or direct the preparation of monthly financial reports and statistical data Perform financial analysis on budget versus actual.
• Communicate with management with regard to any projected problem areas or opportunities for cost savings
• Direct and supervise analysis of job cost, commitments, and allocations of the common cost pool.
• Supervise the compilation of revenue, recognized cost, and profit on all housing jobs
• Direct and supervise financial forecasts of projected revenue and profit
• Establish appropriate controls in purchasing systems to ensure accurate and timely budget updates
• Streamline back-office operations to ensure quality service to internal and external customers.
• Facilitate workflow between National Financial Services and Division operations

Required Experience:

• Bachelors in Accounting
• 4-5 years experience in public accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong knowledge of cash flows, financial reports, and annual reports
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage long-term projects
