Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Controller to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a central role in managing the company's financial operations while also taking on responsibilities in HR and small projects. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position requiring flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·      Financial Management:

o  Oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting.

o  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

o  Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage relationships with external auditors and consultants.

o   implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.


·      Human Resources:

o  Manage employee onboarding, payroll administration, and benefits enrollment.

o  Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and tabor laws.

o  Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and HR matters.

·      Project Management:

o  Lead and coordinate small projects, including operational improvements, system upgrades, and ad hoc initiatives.

o   Develop timelines, assign tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

·      General Support:

o  Assist with various administrative tasks and support the management team as needed.

o  Handle interruptions with professionalism, prioritizing urgent tasks while maintaining focus on long-term goals.

o  Be available and accessible to address immediate needs or issues as they arise.


Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

·      5+ years’ experience in accounting or financial management business environment, preferably in a small business environment

·      Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

·      Experience in HR and knowledge of employment laws is highly preferred.

·      Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills
