We are seeking a competent and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential/commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, financially sound, and provide excellent tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  2. Leasing and Marketing: Advertise vacancies, conduct property tours, screen prospective tenants, and negotiate lease agreements.
  3. Financial Management: Collect rent payments, track expenses, create budgets, and ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
  4. Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate maintenance activities, oversee repairs, and ensure the properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
  5. Vendor Management: Hire and supervise contractors, negotiate service contracts, and ensure quality workmanship.
  6. Legal Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant landlord-tenant laws, regulations, and fair housing practices, ensuring compliance at all times.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, handle correspondence, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and liabilities, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure proper insurance coverage for the properties.
  9. Team Leadership: Supervise property staff, provide training and guidance, and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of property management software and financial principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager - CPM) are a plus.
