Lead Engineer – Commercial Class A Office

Direct Hire; $75K - $85 plus 10% bonus

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

·        Proper operation of all equipment within the area of the central plant.

·        General maintenance and operation of the central plant equipment.

·        Ordering of parts and supplies as directed by the Chief Engineer.

·        Monitor systems for potential problems (or existing problems) and formulate solutions to be presented to the Chief Engineer for appropriate action.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

·        Authority to make adjustments and changes on HVAC equipment.

·        Chillers and reheat adjustments for proper operations.

·        Building environmental controls.

·        Start and stop equipment.

·        Operate and maintain all HVAC and related equipment under the direction of the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.

·        Participate in the preventative maintenance on all equipment in the central plant.

·        Maintain current chemical analysis of boilers and condenser water.

·        Maintain hourly log readings.

·        Clean and paint cleaning station.

·        Participate in training program.

·        Participate in the inventory of supplies and parts.

·        Maintain a neat and orderly appearance.

·        Assume other responsibilities as delegated by the Chief Engineer or the Assistant Chief Engineer.

·        Reading of monthly water, electric, ETM and BTU meters.

·        Maintain a good relationship with employees, tenants and contractors.
